The Heritage Partnerships Teams is pleased to promote this new Institute of Historical Research partnership online seminar series. Heritage professionals and researchers are brought together to place historic houses and heritage sites in their global and imperial contexts. This series is the product of collaboration between convening institutions from the Caribbean, UK and US, and heritage organisations with a domestic and global reach.

The sixth seminar of the series will take place on , 3:00-4:30pm.

In this session, hosted by English Heritage, we will look at recent creative collaborative projects that have explored and presented narratives of colonialism and transatlantic slavery at English Heritage sites.

Eleanor Matthews and Joe Savage will talk about Brodsworth Hall, near Doncaster, where public art was used to engage with slavery connections.

Megan Leyland and Harriet Parry will talk about the ‘Marble Hill Revived’ project, with a focus on contemporary resonance work.

Kirsty McCarrison and Kemka Ajoku will outline English Heritage’s youth engagement project, ‘Shout Out Loud’, looking in particular at the ‘England’s New Lenses’
