About the role

TORCH is seeking a project officer to coordinate and deliver a programme for the Shaping Destiny project. This role will develop partnerships and support the administration and co-creation of new immersive dance, VR, and theatre work generated between researchers and the partners involved in the project.

This role will work with the Shaping Destiny multidisciplinary team, coordinating and project managing the theatre and performance project activity, contributing ideas to a developing methodology to encourage University-theatre collaboration, and supporting the evaluation of the project.

About you

You will hold a good first degree or equivalent experience and have a background in creative work. You will be a strong team player with the credibility to help build collaborative partnerships with theatres and researchers.

You will also have excellent written communications skills, strong numeracy and negotiation skills, experience of managing varied interpersonal professional relationships with tact and discretion, and a proven ability to deliver successful events.
