Come to this open coffee morning/session to exchange ideas and perspectives with Professor Stephen Bergman (New York University) and Professor Joshua Hordern of the Healthcare Values Partnership at Oxford University as well as others. We will be addressing the vexed issue of the recruitment and retention of the healthcare workforce and what Humanities scholarship can contribute to the discussion.

This session which is hosted by The Oxford Research Centre for the Humanities will be led by Dr Emma McKenzie-Edwards and Dr Andrew Papanikitas from the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences with Dr Ioanna Psalti, Dime Ltd. in association with Professor Joshua Hordern, and The Healthcare Values Partnership at Oxford University. Please note that this is not a literary event and Professor Bergman will not be signing books between 10m -12 noon.
Key participants will be invited to give brief video shorts of their ideas, to be hosted on the Healthcare Values Partnership website
Delegates at this event are warmly encouraged to also register for the meeting, Healing, narratives and personal values in healthcare, which will take place in the Radcliffe Humanities Building from 1-6pm (includes networking lunch). Places are strictly limited for both events. Delegates may also use this ticket to attend a public literary event and book signing at 7pm in Blackwells' (Main bookshop) on Broad Street.
