In partnership with the Old Fire Station, Oxford.

Forgotten Stories of Oxford is a Spoken Word collection by multimedia artist Rawz, that forms a walking tour through the heart of his hometown. Each poem is tied to a specific location in central Oxford, and a story that offers a glimpse behind the city's prestigious facade. This tour isn’t about the iconic University, or the political, fictional or academic figures born among its dreaming spires - it’s about the lives that have formed the bedrock beneath the skyline, past and present.

Bespoke guided tours are available, led by the artist himself as he performs the poems inspired by each location and shares the stories behind them. You can also explore the self-guided version online - on the streets of Oxford via smartphone, or from wherever you are in the world.

Free maps are available at shops and venues across Oxford, and digital maps can be downloaded online as a PDF or viewed via a special Google Earth Trail - both also free.
