Curator of National Public Programmes, English Heritage
Angharad Brading is a museums and heritage professional with over 20 years’ experience planning and delivering memorable visitor experiences. She stated her career working for the Port Sunlight Village Trust on the Wirral as a Marketing and Heritage Officer where among other things she oversaw the planning and design of a new museum for the village. Since then, she has worked for both the National Trust and English Heritage, most recently as Curator of National Public Programmes where she leads on developing and delivering large-scale, national creative initiatives that connect heritage sites and share meaningful stories in innovative ways. Angharad is lead for English Heritage’s new poetry programme, ‘Inspiring Voices’.
She is passionate about accessibility and is the chair of English Heritage’s Disability Network. She is also a guest lecturer for the University of Birmingham, MA in International Heritage Management.
