TORCH Fellow Dr Osayomi Collects Vice-Chancellor's Award

The team at TORCH are delighted that Dr Tolulope Osayomi was able to collect in person his certificate for the Research Culture Award for the Medical Humanities Research Hub (MedHum), which was awarded through the 2025 Vice-Chancellor’s Awards (Excellence in Research and Innovation category). 

In 2023-24, MedHum collaborated with Dr Tolulope Osayomi as part of the AfOx Fellowship Programme, working with him on events that showcased African medical research, culture, politics, and agency in understanding the global patterns of Covid-19. We are thrilled that as part of Dr Osayomi's International Fellowship connected with the TORCH International Project: A Humanities Framework for Equitable Global Health, he was able to receive the certificate in person.
