This two-day interdisciplinary workshop brings together researchers, health professionals, and community practitioners to creatively and critically examine the concept of familiarity at the front line of community health. The workshop is organised around four panels: Informal Infrastructure, Reproductive Care, Frontline Voices, and Beyond Progress. Together, we explore trust, knowledge, care, and community from interdisciplinary perspectives.

The workshop also includes a keynote by Dr Rosie Read (Bournemouth University) on Thursday 8 October, 14:00–15:30, drawing on her new book, Undervalued Social Care in the Home and Community: A Feminist Social Reproduction Perspective.
