Medical Humanities Early Career and DPhil Writing Group MT2026
Weeks 1-8 MT2026, 9.30am - 12.30pm
Seminar Room 00.056, Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities
Are you an early career researcher, fixed-term lecturer, or doctoral student? Do you research on a topic related to health, medicine, the body, or mind using Humanities or Social Sciences approaches? Join us to get some writing done!
The Medical Humanities Writing Group is an inclusive, interdisciplinary and casual gathering, offering writing accountability and networking: all DPhil, and ECR members of the collegiate university community are welcome.
We have two timed writing blocks (9:45am-11am and 11:15am-12:30pm) with coffee/tea/light refreshments (including gluten free and vegan options) provided, and are focused on setting writing goals and getting work done in a positive and supportive environment. We set goals to stay accountable to the group and get advice on any roadblocks in what we’re working on in the break.
