Dana N Mills

I am a dancer, an activist, a writer and an academic. My research focuses on the history and practice of radical politics. My first book, Dance and Politics: Moving beyond Boundaries was published by Manchester University Press in 2016. I have two forthcoming books in 2020; a critical study and biography of political economist Rosa Luxemburg (Reaktion) and a book on dance and activism (Bloomsbury/  Methuen). I have held research positions in variety of international institutions including New York University, Northwestern University and have been a Writer in Residence at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival and the American Dance Festival.
