Dominika Kolenda is a graduating fine art student at Oxford University passionate about people. She merges multiple senses to create a truly immersive, human, and bodily experience. Her interdisciplinary practice is not just an object to be admired from a distance, but rather a living, breathing organism that engages the viewer in a dynamic dialogue between the physical and the conceptual. She is fascinated by social anthropology, and in particular, the ways in which individual experiences contribute to the creation of defined concepts that can be commonly understood, yet highly individualized. She explores the objective through subjective by creating a bridge between the inner and outer worlds, a space where the subjective and objective can coexist in harmony.
