Dr Susanna Snyder

Biography

I am Lecturer in Ethics and Theology, Programme Leader for Short Courses and Director of Research at Sarum College in Salisbury. I hold degrees from the University of Cambridge (MA) and the University of Birmingham (BATS, PhD), and have previously taught at Emory University, Episcopal Divinity School and the University of Texas at Austin. Before starting at Sarum College in 2023, I was Academic Dean at Ripon College Cuddesdon. I am currently an Associate of the Centre for Theology and Modern European Thought, and teach and supervise on the MTh in Applied Theology at the University of Oxford.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy/Advance HE, and a member of the Society for the Study of Christian Ethics and British and Irish Association for Practical Theology. I am on the editorial board of Studies in Christian Ethics.
