Following on from the successful live event in November 2021 featuring live performers and an art exhibition, the Sound of Contagion project team (led by Chelsea Haith) announce the launch of a short film which explores the questions that have informed the project: What does it mean to use AI as an artistic tool? And, who is the artist when machine intelligence is involved in the creative process?

This project is funded by the Oxford-Minderoo AI in Governance Challenge Fund, supported by TORCH as well as Seed funding from the Oxford-Berlin Partnerships Scheme, and with support from Wolfson Digital Research Cluster.

For full details on this project please visit the TORCH website and the Sound of Contagion website.
