Wild Fires: a new novel from former Writer-in-Residence Sophie Jai
TORCH is delighted to share the cover for Sophie Jai's debut novel WILD FIRES.
Jai was the 2020 Writer-in-Residence & Visiting Fellow at TORCH and St Edmund Hall, where she worked on the manuscript of WILD FIRES during her residency. The novel tells the story of a family of women navigating grief and intergenerational values across time and the borders of Trinidad and Toronto. WILD FIRES will be out in the UK in May 2022 from The Borough Press and HarperCollinsUK.
