Race and Resistance Graduate/Early Career Research Grant

Thanks to the generosity of an external donor, the Race and Resistance Programme at TORCH is delighted to offer an award to support a conference, workshop, or symposium on any theme that relates to this area of research. Applications should be led by postgraduate and/or early career researchers.

Graduate/Early Career-led Conference/Workshop Award
One award of up to £1,500 is available to a project led by graduate students and/or early career researchers seeking to organise a conference, symposium, or workshop on a theme primarily relating to race and resistance. The money is intended to cover travel expenses and catering costs. Applications should be from a team of at least two current graduate students and/or early career researchers, from two different faculties who are registered at the University of Oxford. At least one applicant should be within the humanities division. Interdisciplinary proposals and/or partnerships with scholars beyond Oxford are particularly welcome.
