TORCH Book at Lunchtime

TORCH Book at Lunchtime is celebrating 10 years of inspiring discussions in 2023. Over 100 books have been discussed since 2013 from authors within the Humanities Faculties and beyond. Every Book at Lunchtime discussion has been filmed and the TORCH YouTube channel has a remarkable playlist dedicated to the books. It really is a great resource of knowledge for people who might possibly be studying or simply want to gain a better understanding of a subject area. The discussions cover an array of subjects across History, Philosophy, English, Languages, Philosophy, Music and many more areas. So many books have been critically acclaimed biographies such as Becoming Beauvoir.

For Michaelmas Term 2023 we will be welcoming audiences to the discussions in the Radcliffe Humanities building from all walks of life. Notable books coming up include Courting India (book your place here) and One Hit Wonders (book here

Book at Lunchtime is open to all. We look forward to many new friends joining us for future discussions.
