Changing Lives: Understanding What Enables Children Growing Up in Adversity to Thrive in Modern Britain

As part of an interdisciplinary research project on Childhood Adversity and Lifetime Resilience, this video shares the central messages that emerged from a knowledge exchange project. The workshop brought together practice-led partners, policy-makers, and researchers from the humanities, social and medical sciences to examine evidence for what best supports children exposed to maltreatment to thrive in adverse circumstances.
