Watch back our first event in a new knowledge exchange series.

From past productions on demand to table-top Shakespeare, from Zoom comedy to interactive events, 2020 saw an astonishing display of creative energy on our screens. We talk to theatre leaders, makers and researchers about their experiences of making or programming work in lockdown, and ask them what challenged, surprised and delighted them.

This event was hosted by TORCH Director Professor Wes Williams, joined by guest speakers:

This event was for existing and future creative partners, Oxford researchers and students, and anyone with a keen interest in the theatre industry and its interface with university research. This and future events will be your chance to hear from practitioners and offer your own experiences.

Event format:

12.30pm - 1.30pm: Webinar with the opportunity to ask questions to the panel

1.30pm - 2pm: Break-out discussions to share your highlights of performance in lockdown, and ask further questions in an informal setting [Not featured in recording]

This event was supported by the KE Seed Fund, and further events in the series will be shared in due course.
