Are you interested in researching and learning about African Humanities? The African Languages, Literatures and Cultures TORCH Network (AfCultures) is a new network that brings together scholars of African art, film, literature, cultural history and more from across the University and beyond. Alongside Prof. Phillip Rothwell (Portuguese, Oxford) and Prof. Elleke Boehmer (English, Oxford), join us for an informal discussion over pastries, tea and coffee to discover the aims of the network, the events we have planned, and tell us what you would like to see.

Everyone welcome! Please register to help us with numbers for catering.
