Join Queer Intersections Oxford for a talk by Prof. Laurie Essig, Chair at Middlebury College's Dept of Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies and host of the podcast 'Feminism, Fascism and the Future'.
In this talk, Prof. Essig will reflect on the lessons she has learnt over the past 3 years of running the podcast about the global anti-gender movement and its entanglements with nationalism, colonialism, and economic and climate precarity. What do we know about the anti-gender movement and its history? What must we still learn as we struggle to keep critical thinking and the complicated truths about sex/gender alive?
No registration required! Wine and elderflower coridal provided.
