Terms Poetry brings together powerful poets and attentive audiences. In the course of our evening, several Oxford poets will present new work, with interludes for music, wine and conversation. The guiding term for Trinity 2026 is Touch,inviting poems that inhabit moments of closeness and cruelty; presence and loss. Our contributors are drawn from a wide range of backgrounds, ages and poetic traditions, and their work has been rehearsed with and curated by Michael Glenfield, a poet, critic and former teacher of drama. This event is a must for any who love poetry, value fresh artistic voices or would like, simply, to experience the wonder of well-chosen words.
