Are you mystified by the demands of a doctoral thesis? In this interactive session, you’ll
discover what’s involved and develop a plan to help you make progress. With examples and
discussions, you’ll explore different approaches and structures so you can decide what’s
right for you.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session, you’ll have:

  • Understood the main requirements and elements of a doctoral thesis.
  • Considered different approaches to structuring your thesis.
  • Reflected on what you’ve already achieved and what’s left to do.
  • Gained ideas for maintaining writing momentum.
  • Set goals for the next steps.

Although this workshop discusses the structure of the literature review, the review itself is
covered by a separate workshop
.
