The TORCH Gender and Authority network are hosting a seminar which will take place on Wednesday of Week 2 (25th January) in Lecture Room B at Worcester College. The network is jointly supported by The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities and the Balliol Interdisciplinary Institute. The network aims to explore and question received notions of social and cultural authority, specifically as they intersect with issues of gender.
The seminar will begin at 5.15pm. It will end at 6.45pm and be followed by dinner with the speakers, to which seminar attendants are most welcome.
