Kelechi completed her PhD in English at the University of Exeter as part of the Wellcome-funded Waiting Times Project and as an associate member of the Wellcome Centre for Cultures and Environments of Health. Her doctoral project examined the relationship between time and care in contemporary end-of-life narratives. She is a member of the Black Health and Humanities Network and currently working within TORCH on archival research in partnership with the British Film Institute (BFI) as a Postdoctoral Researcher on the Wellcome-funded 'After the End' project. Her current research interests focus on how genre mediates encounters with madness in cultural forms.
