We are a cross-faculty committee of graduate students at the University of Oxford who are organising an interdisciplinary conference, Rethinking Resistance, which will be held in Oxford 23 – 24 June 2022.
This conference, supported by TORCH and in partnership with the White Rose Project, will investigate questions about the nature of resistance, its agents, and its place in communities of memory across different media, genres, geographical contexts, and time periods. Our conference seeks to bring together a wide range of scholars and practitioners to explore fundamental aspects of resistance. It will combine academic papers with discussion panels and collaborative workshops.
