About the project:

This DPhil research project, co-sponsored by Tesco Labs, looks to investigate how digital nudging mechanisms that involve social comparisons or self comparisons may be used to help consumers make healthier food decisions in online or intelligently-connected contexts.

Upcoming studies funded by the Minderoo AI Challenge Fund will look to understand if disclosing that comparisons and predictions are driven by artificial intelligence will impact nudge uptake positively or negatively and how this may vary based on the framing of such disclosure statements.
